THE FLOWERS ON THE ALTAR are given to the glory of God by Sara Lynn McCrea in loving memory of her husband Bing and her son Trez.

THE TWENTY-THIRD ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF CHOIRS presents its closing service TODAY at First United Methodist Church at 5 p.m.  The event features singers from local area churches, including members of the Holy Trinity Choir, brass, and organ.  The guest conductor is Dr. André Thomas, internationally known choral conductor, from Florida State University.  The service is presented free of charge.

EARTH STEWARDSHIP will meet to clean up Paynes Prairie on Saturday, October 18.  HT parishioners will meet at 8:30 a.m. in the parking area north of the Parish Hall for the 9 a.m. gathering at the District 2 Administration, 4801 SE 17th Street. To RSVP for lunch, please sign up after Sunday services or contact the parish office.

ECW 118^th ANNUAL MEETING is Thursday, October 23 at Cerveny Camp & Conference Center.  Registration begins at 9 a.m. followed by Eucharist at 10 a.m. in Mandi's Chapel.  To sign up, please use the form in the Lillycrop Room.

DUVAL NEWS After the 10:30 service today in the Parish Hall, Patty Sullivan will be selling Entertainment Books to help with Duval Elementary School's fundraiser.

OKTOBERFEST tickets are on sale during coffee hour or at the parish office.

NEWSLETTER DEALINE for the November newsletter is Wednesday, October 15^TH.

ALL SAINTS SERVICE will be celebrated at the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday, November 2.  If you would like a loved one remembered during the service, please submit the name(s) to the parish office.

Ø       Home Van - White socks, bottled water, canned tuna, peanut butter, Vienna   sausages, bug spray, sheets, money
