PASTORAL CARE

ANGLICAN PRAYER BEADS

Many Christians find that the use of prayer beads helps with focus and meditation. Praying the Rosary involves a series of short prayers which can be led by a parishioner and allows for emphasized reflection before our worship service. Prayers are read on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel.  No beads? No problem! Loaners are available along with prayer guides. Contact: Rachel DiSesa, disesa@gmail.com

BROTHERHOOD OF ST. ANDREW

This international men’s organization has been active in promoting fellowship, service and worship for men since the 1800’s. Holy Trinity became the 7th church in Florida to have a Chapter of the Brotherhood. Many projects are presented to the Brotherhood for consideration and involvement. Meetings are the first Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. in the library.

CHRISTOPHERS

Christophers are a connecting link from Holy Trinity to persons who, for various reasons, cannot fully participate in our church life.  This may involve personal visits, phone calls, relating church news, and the kindnesses that one does for a friend.  Christophers also might provide a meal for someone just home from the hospital or drive a parishioner to a doctor’s appointment.  In early December, Christophers deliver poinsettia plants to our shut-ins.  Contact: Joan Bearden, joanlbearden@yahoo.com

DAUGHTERS OF THE KING

The Holy Trinity Spirit of Life Daughters of the King Chapter is a group of women dedicated to prayer, service, and evangelism.  Our goals for 2015-2016 are:

-          Prayer Requests, praying for individual needs and concerns through prayer request cards

-          Card Ministry, sending Cards of Encouragement and Healing to those in need for extended periods

All requests are confidential with Daughters of the King.  Please prayerfully consider joining our ministry by meeting with us or contact: Cindi Ypsilanti, ypsilantic2@gmail.com or Sandy Rasmussen, sandyrc03@gmail.com.

The Holy Trinity Spirit of Life Daughters of the King Chapter will meet the 2nd Sunday of every month at 9:00 a.m. in Room 111.

EUCHARISTIC VISITORS

Trained and licensed members of the congregation assist the clergy by taking communion to those who are unable to attend services at Holy Trinity.  Contact George Guy George.vern.guy@gmail.com, if you would like to join this ministry.  George will take communion to veterans who use the Gainesville VA Hospital or the civilian hospitals, if contacted in advance.
