HTEF: Legacies of Love That Live On

Partnerships between these generous donors and HTEF investment managers have built a legacy of love that lives on through Holy Trinity’s ongoing life, mission, and ministry.

ALFRED A. RING ENDOWMENT

Named for the late Dr. Alfred Ring, this endowment funds the yearly Ring Lecture Series, which brings top-notch religious thinkers and authors to Gainesville for public speaking engagements.

BARBARA B. HALL & FAMILY ENDOWMENT

Founded by longtime parishioner Barbara “Bobby” Hall — a driving force in establishing Holy Trinity Episcopal School of Gainesville — this endowment funds tuition scholarships, teacher enhancement, and maintenance of school facilities.

BRIAN & LINDA GENDREAU FAMILY ENDOWMENT

Established by parishioners Brian and Linda Gendreau in memory of their parents, this endowment funds costs of keeping up the parish’s physical plant not covered by its budget.

CHARLES H. DENNY III & WANDA N. DENNY ENDOWMENT

Named for late longtime parishioners Charles and Wanda Denny, this endowment funds Christian education activities for our parish’s children and youth.

CHRISTINE S. & MALCOM RANDALL ENDOWMENT

Named for late longtime parishioners Christine and Malcom Randall, this endowment funds our parish’s Downtown Ministry, Family Promise of Gainesville, and Holy Trinity Episcopal School of Gainesville tuition scholarships.

CORNERSTONE 1 ENDOWMENT

Founded with a $1,000,000 pledge by an anonymous donor, this endowment covers major capital needs or our church buildings and grounds — a phenomenal blessing to our church for generations to come.

MARGIE SUE AND MURRAY LASLEY ENDOWMENT

Named for late longtime parishioners Margie Sue and Murray Lasley, this endowment funds Christian education activities for our parish’s children and youth.

McGRIFF-PRINE FUND

Named for longtime parishioners Gus and Jackie McGriff and Gordon and Mary Prine, this fund covers costs of young parishioners attending summer camp at Camp Weed, our Diocese of Florida’s campgrounds in nearby Live Oak, Florida.

RECTOR’S DISCRETIONARY FUND

The oldest of HTEF funds, it was founded by a gift from past rector Father Earle Page. It provides our parish rectors with funding to use at their discretion for costs related solely to their pastoral ministry as they see fit.

RUTH JOHNS FAMILY ENDOWMENT

Established by longtime parishioner Ruth Johns, this endowment funds scholarships for parishioners pursuing undergraduate degrees at accredited colleges and universities.
