HOME COMMUNION!

Can’t drive yourself to church anymore? Then let us bring church to you! Our parish’s trained Eucharistic Visitors, licensed by our Diocese of Florida, can bring the eucharist — the sacrament that bonds us to Christ Jesus and each other as one body (1 Corinthians 10:16-17) — to you so that you can commune with us at home. HELP THE HTESG CHRISTMAS STORE!

Holy Trinity Episcopal School of Gainesville (HTESG) is hosting a Christmas Store 6 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2024 for kids in the fifth grade or younger. There’ll be a visit from Saint Nicholas, Christmas carol singing, and craftmaking. Please donate unwanted Christmas wrapping paper, lightly used Christmas bags, and gently used knick-knacks to sell at the store. Turn them in at the back of the church or to the parish office by Sunday, December 15, 2024. All Christmas Store items will be priced for a quarter, so children can use pocket change to buy gifts for parents. The Christmas Store’s goal: To enable our young to experience the joy of giving!

JOIN THE CHOIR!

Interested in singing in our church’s choir? Any singer, ages 16 to 90-plus, is welcome. No audition needed. Rehearsal is most Thursdays from 7:30 to 9 p.m., then again on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. You needn’t know how to read music — but it helps! If you love singing, please consider committing to this key ministry in our parish’s liturgical life. Email musicdept@holytrinitygnv.org for details.

JOIN THE HANDBELL RINGERS!

HTEC’s handbell ringers perform a few times a year at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Eucharist. Bells range from the bass end to little treble bells, with musical styles from traditional hymns to challenging showpieces. You needn’t know how to read music — just be able to count in time. Ringers rehearse 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. Thursdays. Email musicdept@holytrinitygnv.org for details.
