WORSHIP
Let everything that breathes praise the Lord!
Psalm 150:6
New Revised Standard Version
Worship is spending quality time with God.
At Holy Trinity, worship is about spending quality time with God our lover and our siblings in faith.
In worship, we open our mouths to praise and pray, our ears to learn, our hands to share, and — in the process — our hearts and minds to change.
Our Anglican way of worshiping God is liturgical — it’s shaped by set but flexible frameworks, forms, and rhythms rooted in a time-tested heritage reaching back to our early Christian and Hebrew ancestors.
Our worship can be simple — spoken word, just the basics. And it can be stately — with candles, incense, music, vestments, bells, and fanfare. But whatever the style or the occasion, our sense of liturgy helps us to keep our worship reverent — driven by abiding awe for God, rather than by human fads and fancies.
