OUR TIES
The body of Christ has many different parts, just as any other body does.
1 Corinthians 12:12
Contemporary English Version
More than just “me and Jesus”
At Holy Trinity, we know that being Christian is never just a “me and Jesus” thing. Rather, it’s a family affair. Our life in Christ ties into these wider partnerships:
The Diocese of Florida of the Episcopal Church, based in Jacksonville, Florida, where our bishop resides. (After all, Episcopal means “led by bishops.”)
The Episcopal Church, the branch of the Anglican Communion in the United States.
The Anglican Communion, a global network of Christians whose belief, practice, and history reach back to the Church of England, headed by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
Our church also shares a special one-on-one relationship with San Juan Bautista (Saint John the Baptizer) parish in Florencia, Cuba, whose Episcopalians we help with financial, practical, and prayerful support to aid their Christian mission and ministry.
