The Ring Lecture Series

Sponsored by the Holy Trinity Episcopal Foundation and funded by its Dr. Alfred A. Ring Endowment, this yearly lecture series brings notable religious thinkers and authors to Gainesville for public speaking engagements.

The 2025 Ring Lecture Series will feature author and religious historian Elaine Pagels for a 7 p.m. Friday, February 21 lecture on Gnosticism in early Christian history (with reception afterwards) and a 1 p.m. Saturday, February 22 lecture on the origins of Satan.

Both lectures will take place in the church, free of charge and open to the public.
